What We Believe

EDA is a consortium of experienced individuals with a wide range of knowledge, skills, and abilities. We delight in the synergy of a group of diverse, creative talents working together toward an objective, and do our best to live up to the following values.

• It is our obligation to promote the conservation and sustainable use of the planet’s remaining natural places, for their   intrinsic worth and their educational, economic, spiritual, ecological, and recreational values.

• All cultures deserve respect, and we will interpret cultural resources in a manner that fosters that respect while
encouraging appreciation and understanding of human diversity.

• We will create interpretive products that communicate a strong sense of place and allow resources to speak for
  themselves.

• We will involve the local community in the interpretive planning process and use local artists, craftsmen and suppliers   whenever possible.

• We will create high-quality interpretive products that are low maintenance, durable,   and easily-adaptable over time.

• We will listen.

• We will adhere to the most rigorous standards of scientific accuracy and responsible   journalism.

• We will do our best to balance our work obligations with our responsibilities to our   families and friends, and respect the priorities our colleagues set for themselves.

• We will be conscious of our firm’s ecological footprint, and be a leader in corporate   environmental responsibility by using recycled, earth- friendly materials and   renewable energy systems whenever possible.
