Rich is the principal of Executive Productions-Seattle, a film studio that has produced award-winning documentaries for nearly two decades. Throughout his career, he has been a conservation advocate and active citizen-participant in organizations that promote and communicate sustainable resource use, respect for the natural world and preservation of historical resources. Rich is founding board member of both the Partnership for the National Trails System and the Corps of Engineers Natural Resources Education Foundation. The missions of both organizations include enhancement of outdoor recreation opportunities and environmental protection. Rich has been a pioneer in the development and use of interactive media such as touchscreen kiosks to orient, inform and educate visitors to public facilities.
