Luther specializes in graphic design and illustration with an emphasis on wildlife and natural history. His professional credits include over a decade as a designer and illustrator for the Richmond Times-Dispatch as well as commissions for Virginia Wildlife Magazine and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. Luther has been a core associate of EDA for more than a decade, and he has done graphic design, layout, and illustration for dozens of EDA projects. His background in newspaper work has led him to specialize in flat-panel graphics, and he has focused primarily on the design of interpretive signs and panels for a number of years. Luther’s exceptional layout and composition skills, subtle color sense and innate feel for the beauty of the natural world distinguish his work, which appears in dozens of informal learning facilities and waysides across Colorado and the West.
