Jack Unruh, exhibit designer, planner, interpretive writer
B.A., English and Studio Art, University of California at Stanislaus, 1973
Jack’s three-decade career in exhibitry spans virtually the entire spectrum of interpretive capabilities, from planning and design to the nuts and bolts of fabrication and everything in-between. His designs run the gamut from woodsy and whimsical to urban-chic, and an ability to use different design styles in different contexts is a hallmark of his wide-ranging talents. Jack is able to not only conceive a design, but communicate it visually and verbally as well. His ability to write interpretive text coupled with his exceptional graphic design skills make him a unique and invaluable talent. Jack has done up-front masterplanning for major visitor centers and other multi-million dollar projects, but he remains committed to detail work and enjoys being involved with every facet of a project.
